Wild Dunes Spring Break will be a time of fun, community, prayer, worship, and evangelism! Join Cru at Purdue and Northern Illinois University as we spend our Spring Break in Charleston, South Carolina! We’ll be staying beach-side at the beautiful Wild Dunes Resort. Waking up next to the ocean breeze, enjoying the God’s incredible creation, spending time with friends, and sharing the joy of the Gospel. It doesn’t get any better than that!

Where are we going?
We are going to the beautiful Wild Dunes Resort, located right next to the Atlantic Ocean. The address is: 4601 Palm Blvd, Isle of Palms, SC 29451 (you can also see where it’s at on Google maps by scrolling to the bottom of this page). We will be staying in luxurious 8 person Villas that include their own kitchen for cooking meals.
When is the trip?
Purdue students will leave campus on March 9th and are expected to return on March 16th.
How will we get there?
Student Leaders will be providing transportation as we drive the 12 – 13 hour trip down to South Carolina. Yes… we said 12 – 13 hours. Look, it may seem like a long drive, but honestly think of that time as some incredible bonding time with your friends! Ask anyone who’s been on a Cru Spring Break before, and they’ll tell you that the drive there and back is always packed with laughter, adventure, community!
How much is the trip? And what does that cost include?
Wild Dunes Spring Break only costs $320 for an entire week at a luxury resort bordering the Atlantic Ocean! That cost includes housing, on-site parking, and ministry training and materials for us to spread the Gospel throughout the week. Students will be expected to pay for gas, meals, and any other miscellaneous purchases during the trip. Scholarships are available for students in need. Why Charleston, SC?
Cru at Purdue is determined to bring the Gospel to unreached people-groups all over the world. This year, we have partnered with our Cru friends in Charleston to bring Christ-centered laborers to a place where the Gospel is sorely needed.
Will I be trained on how to share the Gospel?
Yes! Our Cru Staff will provide sessions and ministry tools to equip you to properly share your faith with the people of Charleston! If you’ve never been sharing before, don’t worry! Any one of our Staff or Student Leaders will gladly go with you and lead in sharing their faith. You are not required to share your faith, especially if you have never done so before, or are still exploring Christianity. However, we still want to encourage everyone who attends to take a step of faith and be willing to try sharing either the Gospel or their testimony. Whether that’s on the beach or with your friends!
Will I get to spend time on the beach and relax?
Absolutely! We have set aside plenty of time for you and all your friends to hang out, explore the city, or relax on the beach. We want students to enjoy their time away from campus and recharge their minds to focus on the rest of Spring semester.
